[General] Can I end my essay with question?

I'm writing about type of roses and I want to end my paragraph with question. Can I do this?
This is question
" which colour of roses would you choose for your mother? "

Depending on the essay, it could be done.

Why don't you try ending with an indirect question? I'd be careful about ending an essay with a question- it's not the same as a conclusion. Like Mike, I wouldn't say that it's completely wrong, but I would advise great caution.

Note my corrections above. Don't put a space after an opening quotation mark and don't put a space before a closing quotation mark.
