    Re: is it correct?

    No, it is not.
Do you mean 'be joyful' or 'be happy'?

"I was thinking" or "I have been thinking", not "I've thinking"

You should have said "I'm thinking about" or "I've been thinking about". I think "Allow yourself joy" is actually quite good - it's snappy, to the point, won't take up much space and says what you want it to.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Welcome to the forum, sarajuana.

'Be happy' would make for a less painful tattoo, and probably a cheaper one.

Please note that a better title would have been
    Allow yourself joy.

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

"Allow yourself joy" is fine with me. Is it to encourage other people, or to remind yourself? I guess that would depend on where the disfigurement tattoo is to be placed.
