"I told my mom that I had seen my uncle standing on the corner of the room while I was sleeping/I had been sleeping on my bed."

"I" was awake when he had seen his uncle.

Which one is right?

"I" was awake when he had seen his uncle.

For the third time, Checkmate: Get into the habit of ending every sentence with a punctuation mark.

Your post doesn't make sense.

If you were sleeping, how could you see your uncle? If it was in a dream, you need to say so.

In your second sentence, who is 'he'?

You can't be awake and sleeping at the same time.

Do you mean 'lying on my bed'?

It should be "standing in the corner", not "on the corner".

I told my mum that I saw/had seen my uncle standing in the corner of my room while I was lying on my bed.

Present:
"I see my uncle standing in the corner of the room while I am lying".

Tell mom:
"I saw my uncle standing in the corner of the room while I was lying".

Flashback:
"I told my mum that I had seen my uncle standing in the corner of the room while I had been lying".

You need to say "lying down" or "lying on the/my bed". If you say "while I am/was lying", it means "while I am/was saying something that isn't/wasn't true".

People are too smart to know the difference but I'm thinking the same too.
