    Verb or pronoun?

Later that summer, she asked herself, "What was I thinking of?"

    Isn't I pronoun? Workbook says it's a verb.

    Re: Verb or pronoun?

Are you absolutely sure that the book says that the word "I" is a verb? If so, that is 100% wrong! "I" is never and can never be a verb. If your workbook has mistakes like that, I suggest you get a different book.

I have found that question and answer section on Google and on this page, "pronoun" has been circled (although rather poorly).
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
