    do/make a dish

    Hello!

    It's from an English book.

Interviewer: What kind of food do you serve?
Restaurant manager: Mainly international dishes like pasta, steak and fries-but we also do several English dishes as well.

Can we also use "make" instead of "do" in the above sentence?

    I wouldn't use "make" there.

    "Make" would work in AmE.

You can also use 'have' in the context (what dishes we have in the menu).

    not a teacher

    Re: do/make a dish

We would normally say "on" the menu in AmE.

Agree with Mike, that should have been 'on'.
