Hello,

I read a book, Power Questions by Andrew Sobel and found something I need your help to make it clearer. It says:

"Our power laws apply without exception. They pass the tests of experience and common sense. You ignore them at your own peril."

I understand that the laws in the book can be applied in any case (as the writer said they were irrefutable laws). What I am not sure is the "test of experience and common sense" part. Does it mean they are proven laws (many people used them successfully)? And how about test of common sense? Please clarify.

Thank you.
