produces no more than a slight opalescence

I would like to know if the sequence of the below acts is 1- filter through a filter paper, 2- wash with water 3- add nitrate solution to the filtrate untile it does not more produce ...(here I'm lost).

what does it mean really with " until no one drop of silver nitrate solution no more than a slight opalescence'?

Filter through a Type II, Class G filter paper and wash with
intermittent small washings of hot water until one drop of silver nitrate solution produces no more than a slight opalescence when added to 8 to 10 mL of the filtrate.

    Thanks

Re: produces no more than a slight opalescence

Do 1), then do 2) repeatedly until the test 3) does not produce more than a slight opalescence,so steps 2&3 could be done more than once IMO.
