    A Word in English

Children make things and handicrafts with paper. What is it called in English? (I mean the act of making things with paper for fun or for educational purroses)

    Re: A Word in English

    Thank you,

Someone said I could use the word "origami". Is there any special difference between origami and papercraft?

Origami is a very specific craft of folding paper into shapes without benefit of glue or other fasteners.

In regards to children making things from paper and other supplies, that could be described as "paper crafts" or simply "arts and crafts."
