How to respond to this situation

—That was a delicious dinner. _______
—Thanks. But it really only took half an hour.
    A. You must have spent long hours cooking it.
    B. I really enjoyed it.

    The answer given is B.

I doubt whether it is wrong. I choose A based on the underlined part.

    Am I right?

Re: How to respond to this situation

Because of the response, only A will work. But it is a silly question.

Note the correct spelling of "delicious".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
