I let you both sleep awhile, I am going to read my book first.

Today, he woke up very early because he wanna go to park .
He found that daddy and mummy were still sleep soundly then he said, "I let you both sleep awhile, i reading my book first."

"I let you both sleep awhile, I reading my book first."
"I let you both sleep awhile, I am going to read my book first."

Is the second sentence sound more correctly?

Why would he speak to sleeping people?

    That makes little sense.

    Hello, Wilberjim:

    I might say something like:

"I will let you both sleep a little while longer. I am going to do some reading until you wake up."

    James

P.S. I have made a few suggested changes to your original post.

In post #3, I would suggest something like: "Maybe the kid knew that his parents were pretending to be asleep."
