    I would like to know what "picayune" means here, because the dictionary definition that I found for "picayune" doesn't really suit in my head, the one that describes "picayune" as "trivial, unimportant".

    • "Good humored writing is far too rare a commodity for anyone to be picayune about it."

    It seems to be it could mean picky, but I'm not sure this is the meaning.
