I seem to have heard someone calling me.
I seem to heard someone calling me.

Which one correct? Is "have" necessarily in the sentence?

The second one is certainly wrong.
The first one ... what do you mean to say?
I thought I heard someone calling me?

Not a teacher

I seem
bugs me. Either it seems or I think seem is not a modal verb and thus you can`t use it in the construction seem to + verb nor in seem to + present perfect

It seems that someone called me.
I heard someone calling me.
I think I heard someone calling me.

These are all natural and sound OK to me.
