I recieve an email each month that is sent out to a few people in my company. The sender signs off with "Please contact myself if you need any further information". I feel this is a bit clunky and it would be better being "Please contact me if you need any further information" Can any of you kind people tell me what is correct and the reasons why?
    Thanks in advance

"Please contact myself" is wrong "Please contact me" is, as you suggest, correct.

    Re: signature

It's a commonly-heard misuse of the reflexive pronoun.

Used correctly, a reflexive pronoun refers back to an earlier noun or pronoun:

    'I
    will do it myself.'

    'Hetty couldn't hear herself speak.'
