    a well-played move

    http://totalfratmove.com/frustrated-...ing-so-loudly/

Ignoring the grammar issues, and there were a lot, this was a well-played move. Letís hope Nick took the hints and bought a gym membership..

What does a well-played move mean?
    I need native speakers' help.

He's hoping that Nick will join a gym and work off all that excess energy he seems to have on the weight machine or the treadmill.
