    Present Simple or Present Continous

    One person talks about another person.

    That's a theoretical example:


    "He/she gets the remote control and he/she is always changing channels, so I never see what I want to".
    "When he/she is driving, he/she doesn't change gears".

    Can we use Present Simple instead of Present Continous in the above sentences?
