My best guess is "CN" means "Cable News".

"CN" is Voice of America's Central News Division. The "wire" is the electronic link through which information from CN to the anchors (people who read the news on the air).

Please note my corrections to your posts. There was no need to capitalise "teacher", "please" and "answers". We capitalise the first letter of every sentence, the word "I" and proper nouns.

Also please note there is no need to write a new post to say "thank you". Simply click on the "Thank" button in the bottom left-hand corner of any post you find helpful. It saves time for everyone.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
