    Smile confusion

    Hi there,
I am an English beginner and if you would kindly take time to answer my question,I would appreciate your help.
    question:
What is the difference between "character" and characteristic" in terms of modifying people's qualities?
    thank you for your time
    Sam

    Re: confusion

Character = personality (all of it)
Characteristic = one particular aspect, not everything
