    2nd conditional of could

    "If I had much money, I could buy/could have bought a house."

    Which one is the 2nd conditional form of "could"? As far as I know, "could" is right because it never happened in past.

    With money, we usually use "a lot of" in the positive and "not much" in the negative. We rarely use "much money" in the positive.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
