like in / as in

Hello,

I have difficulty in using 'like in' and 'as in' in a sentence, so I tried to write a sentence. Could you please tell me which one is OK?

- In London, like in / as in Ohio, they use a lot of olive oil in cooking.

I think 'like in' sounds OK, but I am not sure of 'as in'.

You may have simply chosen a random example for your post, but London and Ohio aren't generally given as standard stereotypical places where olive oil is used for cooking.

Many people do but many use it in ways they shouldn't. It's recently become clear that it's one of the oils which changes molecular structure detrimentally when heated. Olive oil should only be used for pouring and drizzling.

I wouldn't choose cities if I wanted to give examples of places where large amounts of olive oil are used. I would probably use Italy and Spain as examples.
