    What to engrave?

I bought a house. I want to engrave on stone something like dedication to my mom who is in heaven. I thought of engraving 'Dedicated to my mom, xyz". Please put forward your suggestions. Is the comma correct in front of xyz my mom's name

    Re: What to engrave?

    Congratulations on your house purchase!

Yes, "Dedicated to my mom, [name]" is correct.

Of course, you don't have to put her name on it if you don't want to. It could just read "Dedicated to my mom" or "Dedicated to my loving/beautiful/darling mom". Note that "mom" is particular to AmE (and certain regions of the UK). For most BrE speakers, it's "mum". You could use "mother", of course.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
