Hi,
In our culture, when someone dies, after one year , in special day that he/she died, family gather for it. we have word in Persian for it. I want to

know, we can use the anniversary as the same for it or not, because as far as I know , anniversary uses for happiness, but this is for sadness.

Thanks in advance.

It's still an anniversary, whether it is a good thing or a bad thing.

'Anniversary' is fine. It does not have an opposite.

anniversary (n)

  1. the date of an important past event that is celebrated or remembered every year:'That date was the anniversary of the invasion.'

Perhaps "My condolences on the anniversary of your XXX's death". (XXX = mother/father/sister/brother/daughter etc)
