    No wonder, he's asking me to get this watch for him. See, usually we tell each other what we want around Christmas time so we don't end up having to return the gifts. I was a little surprised by how expensive this watch was when he first told me about it, so he suggested finding it on ebay.com, but then I said I didn't have an ebay account, and he sarcastically replied that this is the 21st century and only Neanderthals don't use ebay... We are separated and don't live together, so that's why you see the different addresses. Go figure.

    Let's see what AmE speakers say, but it seems a bit odd to me.

    In AmE "go figure" is used for anything that seems difficult to understand.
