    I'm naming a group of my friends. I say:

    That's Jamie, Annie, and Jamal.

    Should it be that's or those?

    I prefer "that's".

    I prefer "that's" too. Because you introduce your friends one by one.

    You say "This is Jamie ... Annie ... and Jamal" if you are introducing friends.
    If they are across the road, across a room, or playing on a soccer field, etc. you can refer to them as 'that'. Otherwise, if they are standing right there, using 'that' would be quite an insult.

    It's not a matter of preference. 'Those' is simply wrong.

    Polyester, there's no need to quote the entire post when your answer immediately follows it.
