    Hi,

When someone is texting with his/her cellphone and at the same time he/she is walking, is there any specific verb or phrasal verb for if?

    Sorry for the title.

In America we would call this "texting while jaywalking." Jaywalking means not obeying the traffic rules for pedestrians while walking in the part of the road where cars and trucks travel.

Walking while texting at home is unremarkable, commonplace. It lacks the element of danger and therefore needs no special descriptive phrase.
