    about ''Live for''

Does the expression ''to live for sth'' doesn't praise the adverb? So in this sentece ''As a matter of fact a lived here for the last three years''. Doesn't sound that the last three years were the mainly reason for living there?

    Re: about ''Live for''

What do you mean by "praise the adverb"?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: about ''Live for''

You seem to be confusing "to live for something" with "to live someplace for a period of time."

    Re: about ''Live for''

I lived there for three and a half years. (Duration)
I lived there for the sake of my health. (Reason)
I lived for my children. (I existed for the benefit of/for the sake of/through my children)
