    help

I am wondering if it is correct or no.

Our ex-employee Jane has been sick for a long time & hospitalized these days. His son phoned me & needs some financial support for medical treatment of his father. Jane has four sons but none of them able to bear the medical treatment & hospitalization expenses. I therefore request you to kindly grant him a substantial amount for his treatment.

    Re: help

Our ex-employee Y has been sick for a long time and is now hospitalized. His son phoned me because he needs some financial support for his father's medical treatment. Y has four sons but none of them is able to bear the medical treatment & hospitalization expenses. I therefore request that you kindly grant him a substantial amount for his treatment.
My suggestion. Note the "Jane" is a feminine name.
