    when Can I use "away"?

    Good Morning,

    Could you help me?

some texts I found the use frequent to the word "away", but I don't know when I can use this word in the sentence.

Is "away" important in the sentence? or Can I skip this word?

    for example:

He sleeps far away from me.

    You can omit away there.
