    Subject verb agreement

According to the rule; we add -s to the verb if the subject is third-person singular

    Example:
    She likes candy.
    He opens the door.
    Mrs. Vega teaches preschoolers.

But,when can I add -es to the verb?
    Like the word teachES?

    Re: Subject verb agreement

I regret to tell you that there are few, if any, reliable rules for English spelling. By and large, you just have to learn it by rote.
