    Fosters

    Hi,
Everyone could please help me to figure out this sentence? What "fosters" means here?

We believe it is also fosters an appreciation for the nature of aftershock ground motion hazard and its relationship to the more familiar mainshock hazard.

    Thanks

It can mean "supports" or "encourages".

Awww, when I saw the title, I thought you were offering to buy me a beer!
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
