Question Polish People or the Poles

I'm just thinking, which phrase is correct.
Can I say, for example: "Polish People are everywhere" or "the Poles (as a Nation) are everywhere"?
What is the difference between it?

Well, "Polish people are everywhere" is fine, but the Poles (as a nation) are not everywhere. They are in Poland.
