One word for a controlled/processed object

For a paper I am writing, I need one descriptive word for an object that is controlled, processed, affected by a processor; the processor is the paper's subject, the domain is computer software.
Could not find it in dictionaries, thesaurus, etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Re: One word for a controlled/processed object

If you're writing a paper about it, I assume you understand the subject. On that basis, I also assume you know the word for it in your native language. What have you found in a Hebrew-English dictionary under that Hebrew word?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: One word for a controlled/processed object

Not quite, the domain is computer software and professional terms in that domain are discussed in English in Israel...
The two words combination I currently use for the draft is "controlled object," I am thinking of "subject" but it doesn't feel quite right...
    Thanks.
