Question What is the grammatical name for the term 'to remember'?

Hello! I am currently studying about how and when you can use the term 'to remember' and was wondering what the correct grammatical name for it would be? I know in English there isn't a future tense, but what would you call this sort of referring to the future? Like, is there a term for it such as present continuous has?
    Thankyou!

Re: What is the grammatical name for the term 'to remember'?

    Welcome to the forum, jrt.

The verb 'to remember' has no special grammatical name or irregular properties, as far as I know.

'I hope you will remember me when I pass away' relates to a future time.

Whether or not English has a future tense is another matter, widely debated in articles here (click on the underlined link).

    It's an infinitive.
