    Deputising

    Hi,
Could someone help out there. In UK English usage, what does the following statement mean: "To formally deputise for the manager" Does it mean someone who does that is is a deputy manager or that the person will assume a managerial position when the manager is not present?

    Re: Deputising

It means to replace the manager when they're not present.
