    I can say: I associate the word 'train' with travelling.
    Can we say: "The word 'train' is associated to me with travelling"?
    If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)

    No. Change 'to' to 'by'.

    Now it's grammatically correct, but an unnatural passive sentence.
