    Hello,

Which way is it better to say:

    a man of retirement age

    a man in retirement age

    Re: of/in retirement age

    *not a teacher

I would go with "a man of retirement age" as I know "I'm of retirement age" .

    I would also choose "of".

Me too, and I have a few years to go until I can claim that I am of retirement age.

    I am not a teacher.

I've had a few years to go for some time, and it isn't getting any nearer!

    Re: of/in retirement age

I'm in the same situation! They just keep moving it further and further away. At this rate, by the time I'm of retirement age, I'll be dead.
