The issues of relational model extension

    Hello everyone,

"The issues of relational model extension and model quality estimation were covered in the previous works".

What do you think about "issues"? I was thinking about using "matters" insteadm but found a number of links with "issues". I hope you've already guessed what I want to say. I would like to say that the material devoted to relational model extension and model quality estimation can be found in the previous works by the autors.

    Thanks

"issues" is fine. Alternatives include "subjects" and "topics".

I think "topics" is the best choice for this.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Re: The issues of relational model extension

The original sentence is "The issues of relational model extension and model quality estimation were covered in the previous works".

Actually, the point is that "relational model extension", "model quality estimation" and related things were cobered by the authors. I'm not sure the word "topics" includes "related things" and therefore it seemed to me that "issues" was better. Does "topics" encompass related things?

Using "issues" suggests that there may be problems.
