    Music Videos of/in 2014

    Hi,

    - Here are the 20 Most Awesome Music Videos of 2014. (I saw this title on yahoo)
    - Here are the 20 Most Awesome Music Videos in 2014.

I cannot understand the usage of 'of 2014' in that sentence. What if I put 'in 2014 instead of 'of 2014'? What is the difference in meaning?

    Thanks.

    Re: Music Videos of/in 2014

2014 is not over yet, perhaps there will be more videos. The second sentence is not natural. The only sensible time to talk about all the videos made in 2014 is after the end of the year, in which case we are talking about videos "of" or "from" 2014.

If you talk about videos you saw in 2014, it doesn't necessarily mean that they were made in 2014- they could be older.
