I am a bit confused about how to use "need" and "dare" without "to" and how to use them with "to".
Members are requested to please help me clarify these two.

Thank you.

Without 'to', they are used in negative and interrogative sentences.

Why don't you write some example sentences for us and we can see how you are trying to use them?

Why don't you write some example sentences for us and we can see how you are trying to use them?

"You need not worry about that"
"You don't need to worry about that"

"How you dare to come to my room?"
"You dare to ask me a question"
"you need to go to washroom"

Please have a look at these examples and give your suggestions, I am not clear enough how to use both of them.

"You need not worry about that." :tick:
"You don't need to worry about that." :tick:

"How you dare to come to my room?" :cross: This should be "How dare you come to my room?"
"You dare to ask me a question?" :tick: This is acceptable and is a construction which is used quite regularly but don't use it in an exam situation.
"You need to go to the washroom." (This is a statement.)
"Do you need to go to the washroom?" (This is a question.)

Please have a look at these examples and give your suggestions, I am not clear enough how to use both of them.

See above.

Questions with 'dare you' and 'need you' are not natural.
You say : 'Do you dare to...' or 'Do you need to...'.
