Something new is seriously wrong in the forum

When I click on any thread I do not see any of the messages in the thread.

Re: Something new is seriously wrong in the forum

Looks like it is very likely my problem rather than a problem at UsingEnglish. I can see posts on my Android phone and on a machine running Windows 8. It is only on a Windows 7 machine that I have a problem.

Re: Something new is seriously wrong in the forum

Now I am starting to think again that UsingEnglish may be involved in this problem. After switching the problematic Windows 7 machine from Chrome to Internet Explorer I was able to see and reply to threads. But I cannot like or thank for them in Explorer under Windows 7.

Thanks for letting us know. I'll take a look and see what I can do . :)
I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.

Thanks, Red5, I think I've got it figured out. I have acquired some malware called VisualBee. I will figure out how to get rid of it. Thanks again.

Did you manage to sort it out? I've checked the forum with Internet Explorer on Win 7 and am replying to this thread using that setup. It appears to be working as expected...?

I am using FF 34.0.5 and most of the text is off to the far right, illegible in some minimized column.

    Just trying to help.

Re: Something new is seriously wrong in the forum

That is exactly what I am experiencing. I did not know how to describe it. Thank you, konungursvia, for your help. @Red5, thank you also for your interest and assistance. I have a couple of effective workarounds, so my problem is not critical.

I think I have resolved the issue at source, so please can you check again and let me know if I've missed anything? If there are still issues, please let me know your browser (IE, FF or Chrome etc.) and, ideally, your screen resolution (see http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/).

Now it's working just fine, thanks for fixing the issue Red5.
