    "Usingenglish.com" is being blocked

I am probably the only one who is having this problem, but I have decided that I should report it.

I am totally computer illiterate (and even use a dialup service!), so it's probably due to my ignorance.

Starting this week, each time that I have gone to usingenglish.com forum, a message comes up that says Internet Explorer is blocking this website because it lacks the proper security certificate.

Fortunately, the message gives me the option to still proceed -- even though it recommends against doing so.

Of course, I always decide to proceed.

Am I the only one having this problem?

    It is quite annoying.

P.S. Would it have anything to do with the change of format that I think has recently occurred?

One common cause of this problem is that your system date is wrong. Assuming that you are running Windows, click "Start" then choose "control panel" then choose "date and time". Make sure your computer knows the correct date.

    Re: "Usingenglish.com" is being blocked

For some reason the forum is allowing itself to be served on both http and https. I'll try and put a fix in soon, but in the meantime make sure you are accessing UsingEnglish forums on https://www.usingenglish.com/forum/
I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.

Just to once again express my gratitude to you (and Red5).

    The clock has been fixed.

    The blocking has ceased.
