    Countable and Uncountable

I would like to use Alex Case's game for teaching about countable and uncountable; however, I am not sure that I am clear about the point or the process. Can someone help me answer the questions 1) why am I teaching this concept? and 2) what will my students be able to do after learning the concept so I can explain it to my students?

    Thank you.

    Holly

    Re: Countable and Uncountable

First of all many nouns can be either, depending on usage. Countable nouns can be pluralized and one can use indefinite articles before them. Uncountable nouns cannot be pluralized, and they cannot take indefinite articles.
