    Meaning of 'high-strung'

What is the meaning of the word 'high-strung' in the following sentence? Nervous , anxious or excited or something else?

If I were taking this exam next week, I would be high-strung.

I don't think "high-strung" applies to your context. It is a more permanent condition. I would use "nervous"
    or "anxious".

Don't give the new project to Janet. She is very high-strung. Look up "high-strung" in a dictionary.
