    acquaintance of new people

    Hello

I'd like to answer the question: Are there any benefits of spending time in chartrooms?

    I would like to say:
    1. You might make new people’s acquaintance chatting.
    2. You might make the acquaintance of new people chatting.

Are 1 and 2 grammatically correct and OK in general?

    thank you

    Re: acquaintance of new people

    Yes. #2 is more natural.
