Please tell. If I say "Would you like to be my friend" or "I would like to be a business man one day or the president of India". Is it correct to say or can "Be" be replaced by "Become" or can both be used?
In the first, only "be" is natural. In the second, either one works.
"Be" is a state". "Become" is a process.
