    lose it

    Please make the following in red clear for me.

    "I was incredibly competitive and outspoken," she told me recently, and that could cause problems. "I would be in the middle of a game, veins popping out of my neck, and in the moment, I would lose it on a player," she admitted.

    Is this saying "when I became very angry, I couldn't control the anger and exploded it on a player"?
