    Can you please tell me the use of 'suspend' is correct in the following sentence?

    All talks between two countries were suspended for a period of two years.

    Suppose two countries are talking about a political issue but there is a conflict between two countries and they decided to stop negotiations for 2 years.Can I say this sentence:

    All talks/negotiations between two countries were suspended for a period of two years.

    Yes, but you need to say 'between the two countries' if you know which countries are involved.
