    farther/further

    There is a point in Digest - my grammar book: "Farther and Further: Farther refers to distance. Further refers to a continuance or to an additional amount.
    There is something else in Longman - my dictionary that says they are both the same with the both meanings.
    I wanted to find your points on it.
