    Older and younger people

    Hi guys,

Please check. "There are several people who get married to the people who are very yonger or older to them" like a guy got married to a girl who was ten years older then him.

    Re: Older and younger people

The passage is so unnatural and incorrect that it is hard to know where to begin. "Many (unlikely in fact, 'some is better') people marry people much younger or older than them".

I think "many" works just fine.

    Re: Older and younger people

Is it totally incorrect? I should have used "Younger or older then them?

    See above.

Not if you've lived outside the developed world, as we have.

Even in the developed world, it is not unusual.

    Re: Older and younger people

There were 13 years between my parents. At the time they married, it was seen as quite a large age gap. Nowadays, I don't think most people would comment on it.
