    Question Technical Relevance - the meaning of the phrase

    Hi everybody!

    I have been told this phrase "
    Technical Relevance" and I do not really understand what it means. The context of the phrase is "technical relevance is an important criteria for a blog entry".

    I am confused because I think I can interpret this in several ways:

    * Importance, or value, from technical point of view (a blog entry has valuable information about current or perspective technologies which is or will be popular);
    * Relevance to technology which the author of that blog entry is familiar with and has been using recently (the author of a blog writes about something that he / she is well familiar with; the one he / she has been using recently);

    If one of these options is correct, which one? If none, that how do I interpret the phrase?

    Thanks!

    Re: Technical Relevance - the meaning of the phrase

    I don't think it has to mean technology. I think it could just mean that the blog entries have to have a relevance to the central theme of the blog. It isn't very clear, though.

    BTW Criteria is plural; the singular is criterion.

    Thank you for the answer. So I see that it is not really clear what was meant.
