    Seeking help: What does he say [???? next time]

    Dear teachers

    I listened to the attached audio clip again and again, but I couldn't pick up what the person said after "No" as indicated below. Would be grateful if somebody can help me out.

    What I hear: "Yes... Did you take it... No... [??????? next time]"

    I could not understand what came right after "No", but the part before "next time" was "think it through".

    Very difficult to understand, but I think it's something like,'Guess he/we could have split the fee.'

    - Did you take it?
    - No.
    - Pity. We could have split the fee. Think it through next time.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
